This was shot in and around Providence, RI. When they zoom on the official looking building, that's the Rhode Island State House. And the interior shots are from the RI State House too.

How do I know this? I was working in the State House when they filmed this movie.

Other points, the lab is actually 1 Citizens Plaza in Providence.
